Dr. Awais Shibli, PhD Joins TECNEX as Chief Technology Officer

TX (July 25, 2010): TECNEX Systems,
LLC, a Houston-based Healthcare Technology Organization providing end-to-end
practice management system and electronic health records solution for
physicians, clinics and hospitals throughout the United States today announced
that Dr. Awais Shibli, PhD has joined TECNEX as Chief Technology Officer. Dr.
Shibli will be responsible to manage TECNEX Engineering and Technology Group
Operations for MD-2 EHR/PM suite of Software Products. Along with that he will
also manage the technical infrastructure for the future versions of MD-2 EHR/PM
as well as new healthcare software product line from TECNEX Systems, LLC.
Dr.
Shibli will collaborate with TECNEX Technical Support, Sales and Product
Development to ensure customer driven software development and help TECNEX
realize its “Customers at the forefront” strategy.

Prior
to TECNEX, Dr. Shibli worked on different projects with SETECS including Secure
Electronic Medical Record Exchange and Patient Identification, XACML policies
for Access Control, Public key Infrastructure, Identity Management and Secure
Mobile Ticketing to name some.
Dr.
Shibli has completed his PhD from KTH Royal Institute of Technology Stockholm
Sweden. He has authored fifteen publications in the area of distributed system
security, published in international conferences and journals. Dr. Shibli has
been invited a number of times as a Guest Speaker at KTH-Sweden and NUST-SEECS.
He is also a recipient of recipient of Silver Medal.
